Candy cane tracing and coloring page

A big, smiling candy cane drawn in dotted lines. The long curves are easy to follow, which makes it a good first tracing page.

How to use it

  1. Print the page.
  2. Trace the outline of the candy cane, then the stripes.
  3. Trace the eyes and smile.
  4. Color the stripes in two colors.
Tip: Red and white is the classic, but a green and gold candy cane looks great too. Let your child choose.

This is day 1 of the 24-day Christmas drawing countdown.

From the book

This page comes from Trace Then Color: Cartoon Christmas Characters

Fifty festive activities, mostly characters drawn as dotted outlines. Your child traces the lines, then colors the picture any way they like, so even a first-time artist ends up with a Santa, a snowperson or a gingerbread man they made themselves.
